Over the past decades, the Department of Physics at the University of Minho has built a network of partnerships with private and public entities that, in a synergistic combination of human and technological resources, is applied in a joint effort of research, development and dissemination. These synergies are evident in joint projects that enhance on the one hand the results obtained, on the other hand the training of our students giving them new skills that make them better able to respond to the needs of the labor market.
