Currículo Resumido / Short resume

The focus of my research is visual function assessment, vision rehabilitation and socio-economical problems of vision loss. In the lab my expertise is in eye movements, clinical psychophysics and programming (not expert in MATLAB). I also have a strong interest in epidemiology, statistics and psychometric methods applied -- all with application to vision problems. Apart from Optometry or Ophthalmology my projects involve collaborations with colleagues working in health economics, public health, psychology, mathematics and neurology.
